At Weaver, we believe that change is an opportunity for growth. What better way to embrace that spirit than by moving into a brand-new office? On 19 June 2025, we officially opened the doors to our new workspace, marking a major milestone in our journey of innovation, collaboration, and expansion. This wasn’t just a change of location; it was a celebration of progress, partnerships, and the people who make our work meaningful.
To celebrate this exciting occasion, we hosted a lively opening ceremony that brought together our colleagues, valued partners, and esteemed guests from the EBU. The day was filled with joy, meaningful connections, cultural traditions, and, of course, delicious treats.
Welcoming with tradition: The lion dance
The highlight of our celebration was the energetic and symbolic performance of the lion dance. As the drums rolled and the cymbals clashed, the lions danced through our new office, spreading good fortune and prosperity. According to Chinese tradition, the lion dance chases away negative energy and brings blessings to new beginnings—making it a perfect way to usher in our next phase at Weaver.
The performance added a lively atmosphere to the event, leaving everyone in awe with its visual spectacle. Our team and guests gathered to witness the ceremony and capture memorable moments of excitement and smiles that truly reflected the spirit of the day.
Celebrating with the community
We were honored to welcome our partners and the EBU team to this special event. Their presence symbolized the strong relationships that have supported Weaver’s journey and growth. It was a meaningful opportunity to express our gratitude to our collaborators and partners in success.
As part of the celebration, guests toured our new space, a thoughtfully designed environment built for innovation, flexibility, and team synergy. With open-concept work areas and collaborative meeting zones, our new office is designed to inspire creativity and productivity.
Sweet moments and shared joy
No celebration is complete without something sweet to eat. Guests were treated to a spread of delicious starters, desserts, and drinks. The selection, which included dainty pastries and refreshing beverages, was designed to cater to everyone’s taste while creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The highlight of the table? Our signature company cake. Decorated in Weaver’s colors and logo, the cake symbolized unity and shared pride in our accomplishments. Cutting the cake was a symbolic gesture celebrating our past achievements and looking ahead to new horizons.
