Weaver’s approach to Smart Government
At this summit, Weaver presented our revolutionary solutions tailored for unified government services with office automation (OA). The event provided an ideal platform for Weaver to showcase its latest advances in digital technology for a Smart Government.
All-in-One SuperApp for government

Among the key highlights of Weaver’s presentation was the all-in-one SuperApp, a comprehensive application designed to streamline government operations and improve the user experience. This innovative solution integrates multiple functionalities and provides a seamless interface for both citizens and officials on a single platform.
The SuperApp includes a suite of office applications that support complex business models and scenarios tailored to the daily operations of different government agencies and officials. It is also equipped with multi-tenancy capabilities, allowing agencies to manage multiple tenants on a single platform and efficiently manage resources such as licences, data, permissions and storage across all tenant entities.
This capability ensures scalability and cost-effectiveness while maintaining stringent security standards. Complementing these advances, Weaver delivers low-code applications that enable organisations to quickly customise and deploy solutions without the overhead of traditional development cycles.
Digital Government Service Platform

Weaver also introduces the Smart Nation: Digital Government Service Platform, offering a comprehensive framework for efficient and integrated public service management.
The solution starts with a unified portal where citizens and businesses can request services through an online service portal or mobile applications. Offline applications are also accommodated, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all users.
After submissions, applications are received at the online reception and registered within a unified office, providing a seamless and efficient intake process. The solution features a collaborative authorisation process where different departments, such as Department 1 and Department 2, work together through a shared service centre. This centre acts as a service and case repository, enabling effective data sharing and business interface integration.
At the end of the process, notifications and certificates are issued through a unified notification system, ensuring timely and organised communication with applicants.
Digital Collaboration Platform Framework

Weaver showcased its Huawei Cloud / HCS integrated Digital Collaboration Platform, a cornerstone for improving communication and collaboration between government departments and agencies. This comprehensive solution is tailored to optimise government operations through integrated, customisable workflow applications.
At its core, the platform features multiple portals: company, personal, departmental, business intelligence and project portals, each tailored to efficiently serve different user groups. This layered approach ensures that different user groups can access the information and tools they need in the most efficient way.
The workflow applications layer provides a wide range of customisable tools designed to streamline various government functions such as human resources, expense and contract management, CRM, asset and project management, supplier/vendor management, administrative tasks and procurement.
Built on a low-code PaaS framework, the platform enables government agencies to rapidly develop and deploy applications to improve operational efficiency. The platform also supports seamless integration with various systems such as CRM, ERP, budgeting, HRMS, MES, LDAP/AAD and archives management systems. This ensures that all aspects of government operations are connected and can share data effortlessly.
This solution is accessible on desktop and mobile platforms and provides robust support for ECS, networking, storage, security, and SMS capabilities. By leveraging Huawei Cloud integration capabilities, Weaver has significantly improved the speed of application delivery and user experience. Automated migration processes have replaced manual methods, reduced time and resource requirements while improving overall efficiency and effectiveness in delivering digital government solutions.
Huawei Cloud Summit South Asia 2024 provided an ideal setting for stakeholders to experience first-hand how Weaver’s solutions are revolutionising public service delivery. Leveraging the robust infrastructure of Huawei Cloud, Weaver continues to lead digital transformation initiatives, paving the way for smarter and more responsive government across the region.
